Build School for 80 Students in Arid Kachuru Kenya

In Kachiuru the progress is good and we are optimistic that more development in school will take place this year as earlier planned. As we had reported last time on provision of sanitary towels and under-wares to school girls, our partners managed to provide them to all Kachiuru girls as well as training on their use and maintenance and we will be conducting follow ups later to access their impact to the beneficiaries and the community. The partnership also increased the number of scholarship beneficiaries in the area as the need arises. Towards classrooms construction, the school board, community and partners are still planning on possibilities of adding more classrooms as the number of pupils is increasing. They are also considering on purchasing more school equipment like desks to create conducive learning environment. Feeding program is on going with the school garden providing vegetables for supplement.
