Build School for 80 Students in Arid Kachuru Kenya

All is well in Kachiuru and they have had a good short 3^rd term.  They have closed school for long December holiday and the candidates are ready to sit for their final national exams starting 2^nd November and we wish them all the best.  The pupils continued working in their school garden after their August holiday although the area has been a bit dry.  They have been irrigating their school garden at least to ensure they had vegetables for their school feeding program throughout the time.  We are also happy to report that one of our partners has extended his support on school feeding program to accommodate porridge for the pupils as their breakfast.  This will be an important initiative as many children have been attending school without breakfast and they had to wait until lunch to get something to eat. We sincerely thank our partners and we really appreciate every support given to our communities.  As earlier reported we were planning to construct an additional classroom in Kachiuru and am happy to report that we successfully constructed a nice classroom to accommodate more pupils and to improve learning environment again thank you to our partners for this initiative.  The classroom will be in operational in January 2019 but we don’t have enough desks for the pupils and we request our well wishers and partners to consider contributing for the school furniture to ensure that in January the pupils will have good learning environment with the necessary learning materials and furniture.   We thank all our partners, friends and well-wishers for their generosity and we are happy to see the good face of Kachiuru and appreciate where we started and where we are now.  The school has really developed and we hope we will achieve even more.
