Greetings from Rise High Public School Team.
We have raised a very small amount for this project so far. We have still gone ahead with some upgrade to our existing Library setup.
Some of the updates
1) We have temporarily shifted our library to 2 large newly constructed classrooms within main building of school itself, creating a big space of 1300 sq.ft
2) We have now gone another large library table and 1 magazine rack. Now we have 2 large library table that can seat about 45 students.
3) We added around 500 more books and subcribed to 5 more weekly/biweekly/monthly periodicals
4) We have hired a qualified Librarian who started from 15-Mar-19.
5) We have bought 4 mobile library bags that can be filled and taken to classes itself.
We have gone ahead from our reserve funds to ensure that our students get access to better library. But it is a temporary setup and cannot be offered for nearby village students.
We hope to raise more funds in near future with many supporters like you to create a separate space for Library that can be used by our as well as nearby students and parents from villages.
