For over 20 years, Human Initiative has supported vulnerable communities through humanitarian response and community development. In Desa Wailulu, this program will provide desks, chairs, whiteboards, bookshelves, and other learning materials to create safer, more functional classrooms where students can focus and teachers can teach effectively.
The school in Desa Wailulu still lacks adequate learning facilities, affecting 128 students, 20 teachers, and the wider school community. Without proper desks, chairs, whiteboards, bookshelves, and learning materials, classrooms remain less comfortable and less effective for teaching and learning.
Human Initiative will provide learning facilities for four classrooms in Desa Wailulu, alongside or after classroom construction. The support includes procuring, distributing, and arranging desks, chairs, whiteboards, bookshelves, and learning materials to create more comfortable, functional, and conducive spaces for students and teachers.
In the long term, this program will help create a safer, more comfortable, and more functional learning environment for students and teachers in Desa Wailulu. Complete classroom facilities can improve learning quality, support teacher effectiveness, and give children better opportunities to study, grow, and build their future.
