Since 2018, we've rescued over 1,000 dogs from Colombia's streets, offered 1,200 free sterilizations, and found loving homes for 650. After years renting the land where our foundation stands, we now face eviction-risking the safety of 100 dogs under our care. Your help will allow us to buy our own land and build a permanent 1.5-hectare shelter, where every rescued dog will live safely, loved, food, medical care, safe homes, play zones and daily love until adoption.
After years of renting the land where our foundation is located, we have received an eviction notice and must leave. Over the years, this place has housed more than 1,000 rescued dogs who once suffered on the streets. We have found the perfect land to build our permanent shelter; it is for sale, and we need to purchase it so that our dogs can be safe and continue our work rescuing lives from suffering and come to us to live safely and recover while they wait for a loving home.
4,000,000 dogs are suffering on the Colombian streets; with love and patience, we are changing that reality. Our foundation offers a safe place with quality, fresh, natural food, quality veterinary care, play areas, spacious spaces, and comfortable, cozy beds for dogs rescued from the streets in vulnerable conditions, victims of violence, or abandonment, while they are adopted.
With this project, we will be able to provide a safe home for 2,000 dogs over the next five years on our own farm, with infrastructure adapted to meet very specific needs, as we have dogs with various disabilities. In addition, we will sterilize 3,000 companion animals in vulnerable areas of the country, which will prevent approximately 100,000 street births.
