Project Report: Financial Gift To Nursing Mothers
Location: AMAC Hospital, Lugbe Community, Abuja
Reporting Period: 10th Feb 2026
Dear Donors
We are grateful to share an update on our ongoing efforts to support pregnant women and teenage mothers through our Free Healthcare for Pregnant Women & Teenage Girls project.
Recently, our team visited nursing mothers at AMAC Hospital in the Lugbe community, Abuja, where we provided financial support to assist them in caring for their newborn babies. During this visit, we spent time listening to the mothers’ personal stories and understanding the challenges they face.
Many of the women shared heartbreaking experiences of financial hardship. Several expressed difficulty in providing adequate nutrition for themselves, which directly affects their ability to produce enough breast milk for their babies. As we know, proper maternal nutrition is essential not only for the health of the mother but also for the growth and development of the child. Some mothers explained that without regular meals, they feel weak and struggle to breastfeed effectively.
Through the financial gifts provided, we were able to offer immediate relief and encouragement. While the support may seem small, it brought hope and reassurance to these women during a vulnerable time in their lives. We have also promised to further assess their needs and explore sustainable ways to continue supporting them.
We sincerely appreciate all our donors whose generosity makes these visits possible. Your contributions are directly impacting the lives of mothers and babies in underserved communities. Because of you, these women feel seen, heard, and supported.
As the need remains significant, we humbly encourage continued support so we can expand this initiative and provide consistent assistance to more pregnant women and teenage mothers facing similar challenges.
Thank you for standing with us and helping us bring care, dignity, and hope to vulnerable families.
With gratitude,
MRS Udoka Florence Obasi
