The Fageli good health advocacy & lifestyle foundation plans to build a standard healthcare center for free healthcare services for 5200 vulnerable pregnant women and pregnant teenage girls who Due to poverty don't get prenatal care soon enough before childbirth and this leads to high health risk to the mother and baby. This project will provide free prenatal care, free delivery, free vaccines for mother and baby. Free quality medications. And to provide professional health practitioners.
The puberty that occurs during adolescence marks a time of heightened vulnerability to leaving school which results to early pregnancy. And Extreme Poverty and illiteracy hinder their access to healthcare during pregnancy and childbirth. Due to no health knowledge they give birth at home having complications of heavy bleeding, infections, preeclampsia and Eclampsia caused by high blood pressure. teenagers give birth to premature & low-birthweight babies.This project will solve this problem.
The 5200 pregnant women & pregnant teenagers who hail from the local communities in Nigeria will enjoy FREE HEALTHCARE during antenatal and childbirth.They will receive free delivery items, feeding money. Special care and attention, we will get to know their problems and help them. And also teach them how to avoid home delivery, unprotected sex, child spacing and early marriage. This enlightenment will Reduce complications that will lead to maternal and child death.
This project will ERADICATE the ERA when the poor pregnant women and pregnant Teenagers loose their life and baby because they cannot afford delivery expenses. This will bring a big relief to poor families that there is a place they can deliver their baby safely without any cost, with free delivery items and baby wears and feeding money. This project will discourage Child delivery at home and educate Teenagers about the Dangers of early marriage and Adolescent pregnancy.
