Your Support Is Inspiring A Global Network of Leaders

By Mary Paris | Senior Advisor, Atlas Corps

Your support builds bridges between global leaders and mission-driven organizations across the United States. The connections we build between our Fellows and Host Organizations are a vital part of our Fellowship program and deliver a lasting impact in each Fellow’s personal and professional lives.

Meet Class 38 Alumna, Shinjini Chowdhury, from India. Although she joined the Atlas Corps Fellowship during the pandemic, Shinjini was still able to explore the U.S. and foster a close relationship with her Host Organization, SAP. While serving full-time as their CSR Communications and Marketing Fellow, she earned valuable work experiences that she continues to utilize in her work today.

In Shinjini’s words, “Since the Fellowship, I was trying out different kinds of work in the social impact space. I had been a trainer and a researcher, and even an almost-operations person. The Fellowship grounded me in communications and with the help of immensely supportive mentors, I learned the basics of communications work beyond just writing.

Today, Shinjini is the Communications Manager at Mantra4Change, an Indian-based NGO that empowers stakeholders who are directly or indirectly involved in the education of students in government schools. Thanks to your support, Shinjini and many other Fellows and Alumni can make a positive difference in their local communities.

P.S. - The Atlas Corps network is expanding! We are currently recruiting for emerging leaders to participate in our Fellowship beginning in 2024. Feeling inspired? Please feel free to share with your networks, using our social media toolkit. We appreciate all of your continued support for our leadership programs.
