new hope for school

Dear Valued Supporters
In the slums of Wakiso mutundwe the needy child lives under extremely harsh humanitarian conditions after losing her primary provider. Inside a modest tent lacking even the most basic necessities of life, she faces daily challenges where the needs of childhood collide with the reality of displacement and poverty.
Thanks to your generous support through GlobalGiving, our team was able to provide financial sponsorship that contributed to covering her essential needs, including education food, clothing, and other basic living supplies. This sponsorship was not merely financial assistance; it was a message of hope that helped restore a sense of emotional stability to a child exhausted by difficult circumstances.
We have clearly witnessed the impact of this contribution, as it positively reflected on her overall well-being and granted her the opportunity to live with greater dignity despite the challenging environment.
We affirm that the continuation of such support represents a lifeline for needy children in Wakiso. We extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to everyone who contributed to bringing a smile back to her face.

Theory of change

*Problem:
* Vulnerable children in Uganda face barriers to quality education (poverty, lack of resources, limited support), hindering their potential and perpetuating cycles of poverty.
*If* Gaba Hope for Kids provides targeted support:
- Scholarships for needy students
- Mentorship & tutoring programs
- Resources (books, uniforms, supplies)
*Then* children will:
- Stay in school & complete education
- Perform better academically
- Gain skills & confidence for future opportunities
*Because* empowered education breaks cycles of poverty & builds self-sufficiency.
*Outcomes:*
- Increased school retention & completion (80% target)
- Improved academic performance (70% pass rate target)
- Enhanced life skills & livelihood opportunities
The theory of change shows the process and the stages through which many lives of children have been changed.
Through this theory of change we have been able to rescue many souls of children.
