Dear Friends of Upendo,
A big thank you to all our friends and partners. Because of your amazing support, the construction work has started.
We are building 9 modern toilets ( 3 for boys, 3 for girls and 3 for our staff). The work will be done in phases. So far, the following have been done:
1) Partitioning of hall into 9 toilets - Done
2) Plumbing work - Partly done. Ongoing.
3) Electrical work - Partly done. Ongoing.
4) Digging of septic - Done. Construction ongoing.
5) Digging of Soakpit - Partly done. Ongoing.
We will keep you posted of the progress.
