Introduction
Our goals with this project are to cut costs by building a 100% sustainable school in Kenya, that will be able to continue educating and feeding all 280 children regardless of the school's income.
Report
The children living in the slums are living in poverty and often are unable to access school and education. Our community school is located in the slums and at capacity as well as struggling to fund the monthly rent while providing a hot meal to every student and paying the teachers. It's simply overcapacity and unsustainable due to the inconsistency and lack of funding. Thanks to you generous donations so far, we have secured sponsorship for 7 students to attend the secondary school this year.
