ars86care foundation is an Indonesian based foundation which focuses on the environment, children and education especially early childhood education. We have long been an advocate for children's right to a proper access to early childhood education. This year our project will help children in Tegalrejo Village, to build a school building for Pertiwi Kindergarten which have been operating for 52 years without it's own school building.
Pertiwi Tegalrejo Kindergarten is located in Tegalrejo Village, Boyolali Municipality, Central Java. The school itself was established in 1967, where it has been operating without a building on it's own. For 52 years, the dedicated teachers from this Kindergarten has been relentlessly educating their pupils by borrowing rooms from village houses, primary schools and public areas around the Village. Currently, the Kindergarten uses a borrowed room from a nearby Primary School within the Village
The project will be able to resolve their issue of not having a school building by providing them with one. Once the Kindergarten have their own school building, these children will be able to finally learn and play in a safe space for them to grow and develop to their fullest potential. With having a school building, the rate of enrollment will also increase, with that more children will gain opportunities to earn their right of education.
The school itself have essentially been operating for 52 years without it's own school building. Our project will increase the impact for 52 more years or more, with a sustained school building designed with a child friendly concept. The village will have a school building to benefit the whole community as well as a heritage for the village for many generations to come.
