Build a school for impoverished Cambodian Children

Build a school for impoverished Cambodian Children

Summary

Around Cambodia, children go to school in cramped, dark and unsanitary conditions. Poor facilities stop them getting the education they urgently need. As a result, over half will drop out before the age of 17 - leaving them trapped in poverty. At AJF, we are raising money to stop this. By building new primary schools in rural provinces, boys and girls in vulnerable communities can dream of a brighter future.

Challenge

Children across Cambodia aren't getting the support they need. Forced to learn in dirty and unsafe environments, their education suffers. Over 55% drop out before the age of 17, leaving them at risk of child labour, sexual exploitation, and permanent lack of opportunity.

Solution

By building schools, we give boys and girls in vulnerable communities a quality education, and the chance for a brighter future. Our latest project is the Trapeang Pring Primary School in Mondulkiri, where we are raising money to build classrooms and sanitary facilites.

Long-Term Impact

With your support, hundreds more children will have the opportunity for a better life. Thank you.
