Thanks to your generous support, Development Alert was able to continue reaching vulnerable elderly people with essential basic-needs assistance and compassionate community support.

Many elderly people in rural communities have spent decades caring for their families and contributing to their communities. In later life, however, some face limited income, declining physical strength, inadequate food, poor housing conditions, and insufficient family support.

Through our elderly support activities, Development Alert identifies vulnerable older people and provides assistance according to their most urgent needs. This may include food, hygiene items, clothing, bedding, and other basic household necessities.

Our team also values the importance of human connection. Community visits give elderly beneficiaries an opportunity to share their concerns, receive encouragement, and feel remembered and respected.

The assistance provides immediate relief while helping restore dignity to people who may otherwise feel forgotten.
