Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generous support, Development Alert has continued investing in young people through vocational skills development, entrepreneurship training, mentorship, and practical livelihood opportunities.
Many rural youth face limited employment opportunities after completing school. Without marketable skills, they can struggle to transition into productive work.
Our youth skills intervention helps young people develop practical abilities that can be used for employment or self-employment. Training is complemented by entrepreneurship education, financial literacy, communication, and mentorship.
Young people are encouraged to identify opportunities within their communities rather than waiting for scarce formal employment.
The skills gained can help participants establish small enterprises, seek employment, provide services, and support their families.
This intervention is also about confidence. Young people who previously felt that their circumstances limited their future are gaining the knowledge and encouragement to become entrepreneurs, skilled workers, and community leaders.
Your support is helping transform youth potential into productive opportunity.
Thank you for investing in Uganda's young people. By giving them skills and confidence today, you are helping build stronger families, stronger local economies, and stronger communities tomorrow.
