Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generous support, Development Alert has been able to complement vocational training by providing start-up fabrics and tailoring materials to young entrepreneurs beginning their businesses.
Owning a sewing machine is an important first step, but new tailors also need fabric, thread, measuring equipment, needles, zips, and other materials to begin producing items for customers.
Your support has helped bridge this important gap. Beneficiaries can use the materials to produce garments, school uniforms, and other clothing products while building their customer base.
Starting with basic materials gives young entrepreneurs the confidence to put their skills into practice and generate their first income. As businesses grow, entrepreneurs can reinvest part of their earnings into purchasing additional materials.
This creates a pathway toward self-reliance.
Your generosity is helping ensure that vocational training does not end with a certificate. Instead, young people receive practical support to turn their knowledge into productive enterprises.
Thank you for helping us create opportunities for young entrepreneurs and especially women seeking greater economic independence.
