Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generous support, Development Alert has continued creating opportunities for women to develop skills, start businesses, and strengthen their economic independence.
Women in rural communities often carry significant responsibility for household wellbeing while having limited access to capital, skills, employment, and business opportunities.
Our women's empowerment activities focus on practical skills development, entrepreneurship, tailoring, financial literacy, mentorship, and access to livelihood opportunities.
Through training and equipment support, women are gaining greater confidence in their ability to generate income. Some are establishing tailoring enterprises, while others are strengthening small businesses and participating in savings and community economic activities.
When women earn income, the benefits often extend to their children and households. Income can contribute to school fees, food, healthcare, clothing, and other essential needs.
Economic empowerment also strengthens women's voices in household and community decision-making.
Your support is helping women move toward greater independence and resilience.
Thank you for believing in the potential of rural women. Your generosity is helping transform skills into livelihoods and livelihoods into stronger families and communities.
