Brainstorming Central

Brainstorming in the meetingroom.
Brainstorming in the meetingroom.

The Youth Association has been busy finding ways to do good in the community, and the meeting room has been a fabulous resource for their brainstorming. While new chairs are sized for preschoolers, the teens find themselves right at home.

In this photo, they are giving some deep thought to how the new computer lab in the village can best be utilized by more of the community. Besides helping the teachers with their lesson-planning and record-keeping, they wondered, "Can it other people too?"

They investigated further and learned that there was a real need among the families to access the Government of Rwanda’s website, Irembo, to obtain health insurance cards… vital for enabling folks to get needed medical care. With the help of the computer teacher, they found a way to make the computers available to more families, who applied online for the cards, saving the parents significant time and money along the way. Better efficiency with government systems is always an important benefit, so thank you to the Youth Association for their great thinking and cooperation with village families.

Thank you for your support in making this progress possible!  Please join us for our July Bonus Day Fundraiser, July 15-16, 2026
