On behalf of the El Lustrador Foundation (ELF), we extend our deepest gratitude to each of you. Your incredible generosity and unwavering commitment are instrumental in transforming the lives of underprivileged children in Guatemala. Thanks to your support, we are able to fulfill our mission of providing vital education and nurturing school environments that encourage these children to attend classes, thrive, and ultimately pursue their dreams. It is through your contributions that we are creating tangible opportunities for the next generation to break the pervasive cycle of poverty.
Currently, ELF is particularly focused on enhancing educational resources for families and students living near the challenging Guatemala City basurero (landfill) in Zone 3. We proudly support two critical schools in this area, as well as the Las Guacamayas School in Morazan, El Progreso and El Zapote School in San Jose Pinula.
We would also like to take a moment to acknowledge the compassionate members of ELF’s Board of Directors – René, Linnea, Eddie, Don, René Jr., and Dexter. Their unwavering dedication and personal generosity play a crucial role in our efforts.
Additionally, the inspiring life story of our President, René Corado, exemplifies the spirit of our mission. His tireless efforts, which began with buying school supplies for these children, have set a powerful example that young people in Guatemala are now beginning to follow. Last August he was in Guatemala were he was able with the support of Asociacion Paz y Bien to conduct a motivational conference to more than 300 students from local schools in Tiquizate, Chiquimula as well as donating packages of his books to children in El Zapote School in San Jose pinula. Also, he made an alliancie with Asociacion Paz y Bien to provide schoolarships to children from local schools.
We also celebrated The Children's Day at Alberto Mejia School by the lanfill.
Thank you once again for standing with us and sharing our vision. By investing in the future of Guatemalan children, you are actively shaping a brighter tomorrow, one child and one classroom at a time. Together, we empower dreams and build hope.
With heartfelt appreciation,
El Lustrador Foundation
