Building Hope, One Step at a Time
Thanks to your incredible generosity, construction of the Mayor Potencial Health Clinic continues to move forward. This spring marked an exciting milestone: during our April brigade, the medical team was able to hold the first medical brigade inside the new clinic. Seeing patients in the new space was a powerful reminder of how your support is transforming healthcare for this community.
Your donations have funded essential construction materials and improvements, including windows, doors, plumbing, structural steel, painting supplies, electrical work, the kitchen and dental treatment areas, and transportation of materials to the site. The clinic now has improved lighting throughout, a guard post for added security, and equipment has been successfully moved from Los Encinitos to the new facility in El Rodeito.
Using the clinic also helped us identify the final improvements needed before it can fully serve the community. We are now working to seal the concrete floors to reduce dust, install safety fencing and permanent entrance gates, improve the driveway for safer access during heavy rains, enhance patient flow throughout the building, and develop long-term solutions for safe water. These finishing touches will make the clinic safer, more efficient, and more welcoming for both patients and the volunteer medical teams who serve them.
Every dollar entrusted to this project is carefully managed to bring us closer to a fully functioning community health clinic that will serve families for years to come.
None of this would be possible without you. Your generosity is creating lasting access to healthcare for a community that has long dreamed of having a permanent medical facility. As we complete the final phases of construction, we invite you to continue this journey with us. Whether through another gift, sharing this project with others, or keeping the people of El Rodeito in your prayers, your support helps turn this vision into reality.
Thank you for being part of this remarkable story of hope, partnership, and lasting impact.
