This house would be ideal if we buy the house for use instead of paying rent which isnt sustainable for women escaping gender-based violence (GBV). It offers a secure and private environment where survivors can heal, rebuild their lives, and find support. The gated compound provides safety, while the spacious layout allows for both communal and private spaces, essential for emotional recovery.
The well-maintained garden and outdoor area create a peaceful atmosphere, which is crucial for mental well-being. Additionally, the multiple rooms can accommodate several women at a time, making it a great setting for both emergency shelter and long-term rehabilitation programs.
With the right resources and support services in place—such as counseling, skills training, and legal aid—this house could become a true sanctuary for survivors, giving them the stability and empowerment they need to move forward.
