Improving Attendance Through Better Facilities
Poor classroom conditions are a major factor contributing to irregular school attendance in rural Uganda. Students are less motivated to attend school when they face discomfort, overcrowding, or exposure to harsh weather.
By building six classrooms, Development Alert aims to create an environment that encourages regular attendance. Comfortable and organized classrooms make learning more enjoyable and accessible.
Improved attendance leads to better academic outcomes, as students are able to follow lessons consistently and build on their knowledge enabling them to great citizens and also contribute to the development of their community
This initiative highlights the importance of infrastructure in promoting consistent education and reducing absenteeism.
