Reaching Hand's Light House School seeks to build 10 additional classrooms and toilet rooms for vulnerable children. Aim is to provide education to children irrespective of their circumstances coming from impoverished sections of society. our sincere goal is to offer a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere that fosters overall well-being of a child.
Most of our students come in from broken homes, orphanages & foster group homes who are experiencing trauma. Unlike conventional or special education institutions, our approach caters to students carrying the weight of their past, which has impacted their cognitive functions, leading to challenges like attention deficit, dyslexia, concentration issues and language disorders. At present we have 130 students, and we face a challenge of limited classroom space.
Reaching Hand provides holistic education to these vulnerable children which goes beyond academics. Our experienced & compassionate staff are equipped to address the unique needs of students with disrupted journeys. We have a mid-day meal program which also provides nutritious food for students. Upon completion of the project, we will be able to reach out to more underprivileged students in the nearby villages.
This project will educate 200 vulnerable children and provide educational opportunities for them to learn and thrive irrespective of their backgrounds. Lighthouse International Academy is a beacon of hope for underprivileged students from orphanages and group foster homes. By providing them with a quality education and a nurturing environment, we aim to break the cycle of disadvantage and create a brighter future for these vulnerable children.
