Conflict has disrupted education for hundreds of displaced children in Yobe State, leaving many without safe classrooms. Elite Star Foundation will construct two secure, fully equipped classrooms for more than 200 internally displaced children, creating a safe place where they can learn, heal, and rebuild their futures. Ongoing insecurity in Yobe has forced many families into displacement camps, where children often lack access to safe and functional schools. Many study in overcrowded temporary spaces or not at all, exposing them to learning loss, exploitation, and psychological distress. Without secure classrooms and quality education, these children face an uncertain future and fewer opportunities to escape the effects of conflict and poverty.
Elite Star Foundation will construct two durable classrooms equipped with desks, learning materials, proper ventilation, and sanitation facilities for more than 200 displaced children. The project will also support a safe and child-friendly learning environment by working with teachers and local stakeholders to ensure children receive quality education, protection, and the stability they need to recover and thrive.
More than 200 displaced children will gain continuous access to safe, quality education in an environment that promotes learning, protection, and wellbeing. The classrooms will serve future generations of children, helping improve literacy, reduce school dropout rates, and strengthen community resilience.
