Build 2 Classrooms and Toilets for 700 Pupils.

Right to quality education is a fundamental human rights for children everywhere. It is unacepted for some children to have access to quality education while some do not have. Cameroon is one of the Countries where education remains exclusive. Children in poor communities attend lessons in poorly built plank classrooms. The schools lack water, classrooms, tables/chairs, toilets and an office, which are necessities for a conducive learning environment for pupils and their teachers. Children defecate in an open environment and cannot attend classes when its raining due to poor state of classrooms.

Integrated Agricultural Association (I.A.A) has identified 17 primary schools in the West region of Cameroon that are in critical state and need support for construction and refurbishment. Government Bilingual Primary School Mogni-Kouffen has the total enrollment of 700 pupils with two trained Government teachers and 4 untrained PTA teachers and is one of those schools that I.A.A is working to support at present.

I.A.A has engaged in advocacy and with community leaders and elites through written letters and visits, and sensitization with community members to request for their support to improve the quality of education in the area.

The initial estimated budget to construct and improve the state of Government Bilingual Primary School Mogni-Kouffen is $35,000.00. However, I.A.A has so far raised $204 through donations on GlobalGiving. I.A.A need to rais $34,796 by the end of October 2023 to complete this project by the end of March 2023. Pupils in Mogni community will not have access to education this academic year because of lack of classrooms and your donation of any amount now, will make a great difference, by promoting quality education.
