Story / Update

For years, families in Village Yasir Khan struggled to access safe drinking water. Women and children often had to walk long distances to fetch water, which was not always clean or safe. The lack of clean water led to health issues, especially among children, and placed a heavy burden on daily life.

Thanks to your generous support, Alkhidmat has now installed a Community Hand Pump in the village. With this new facility, families can collect clean water right within their community. This simple yet life-changing intervention has already improved health, saved time, and brought relief to the residents.

For mothers, it means no longer carrying heavy water containers for miles. For children, it means fewer days lost to illness and more time to attend school. For the entire community, it means dignity, safety, and a healthier future.
