Summary

Eid is a time of happiness, generosity and community. It is a day when children wake up excited, wear new clothes, share a special meal and celebrate together. But for many vulnerable children, these simple joys are not guaranteed. This Eid, we are raising funds to make sure every child can celebrate with dignity, warmth and happiness. Your support will help provide Eid meals, new clothes and small gifts so children can experience the joy and excitement of this special day.

Challenge

Many children supported by Kijana Kwanza come from vulnerable backgrounds where poverty or family breakdown means celebrations like Eid can be difficult. Without support, they may not have new clothes, special food or gifts that make the day meaningful. While Eid is normally a joyful time of community and generosity, some children would otherwise experience it as an ordinary day without the traditions that help them feel included and valued.

Solution

This project will help children supported by Kijana Kwanza celebrate Eid with joy and dignity. Donations will provide essentials such as new Eid clothes, special meals, books and small gifts. These simple but meaningful items allow children to take part fully in the celebration and enjoy the traditions of the holiday alongside their friends and community.

Long-Term Impact

Celebrating important occasions like Eid supports children's emotional wellbeing and sense of belonging. Being able to take part in these celebrations helps children feel valued and included. Positive experiences like this build confidence and self esteem, helping children grow up with stronger resilience, happier memories and greater hope for the future
