Campus Interview
Campus Interview

Dear friends,

We are all very excited about the progress of the vocational skill training project and this is completely possible only through the ongoing support from you.

From the continuation of our previous report, our students have been actively participating in the training programmes scheduled to them at various hotels / hospitals. All the students have completed their training successfully and are now back to the college for their regular classes. Our students are reviewing what they have covered during the year and preparing for their fast approaching exams in April 2016.

We are also very glad to mention that our students had attended the campus interview held by Mamalla Resorts, Mahabalipuram, Chennai on 4th April 2016 at our campus. Ten students were selected of which 5 students who have completed their II year course are appointed as staff while the other 5 Ist year students are appointed as trainees in their prestigious hotel. We wish these 10 ten students all the best for their career development.

Your precious donations contributed so far have greatly helped our youth to secure the much needed entrepreneurial skills.

Once again we extend our sincere thanks to all our friends who have donated towards this project.

Mekala’s mother who is a member of women SHG was informed about the vocational training courses. Through the guidance of her mother she joined the Paramedical Course.

Her regular course content covered Nursing, Anatomy & Physiology, Community Health Nursing followed by practical classes. Besides the regular classes special coaching was given on communication skills, English and Computer coaching too.

Her training programmes were at TR Hospital, Trichy. The trainings had supported her with a decent stipend, which she uses to clear a part of her educational expenses as well to financially supplement her family.
