Since the date of the donation, the funds provided by BASAID have been used to maintain and improve the shelter's facilities, cover basic services, and support the daily operation that allows care for children from different regions of Peru. The total spent during this period amounted to S/39,173.18 ($11,387.55).
Thanks to the support of BASAID and the commitment of the Inspira team, during May, June, and July 2026, comprehensive care was provided to children and families in vulnerable situations from different regions of the country. Here are the main management indicators for this period.
During these months, we cared for a total of 251 children and recorded 518 guests, including patients and their companions. We also provided 24,650 meals. These figures reflect the direct impact of the resources dedicated to the daily operation of the institution and the well-being of the children and their families.
One of the most notable features of the shelter is its nationwide reach. During the months of May, June, and July 2026, children from 23 of the 25 regions of Peru were attended to, highlighting the wide reach of Inspira as a point of arrival for families from different parts of the country who don’t have the necessary resources to afford a stay in Lima while their children receive specialized medical treatment.
