Uganda registers the highest (over 25% every year) number of teenage pregnancies in sub-Sahara Africa with. Extreme poverty is one of the major causes that has triggered teenage pregnancies. Parents are forced to send their daughters into marriage because they can't provide for them. Parents also do this because they get some money and material things as a bride price. Many times such victims are isolated, shunned and neglected by society and we would like to bring a smile to them this Xmas
Low selfie esteem of teen mums makes them hide away from society and they do not even get the opportunity to be loved and cared for, being given a second chance. in life, everyone deserves a second chance.
we will have a time to chat with them, find out their ambitions and plans, how they could change their future, talk to them that they still matter and are loved and tis will help build their self-esteem to go and chase their dreams and even take care of their children instead of abandoning them or sending them to children's homes.
