We are almost done with the first Borehole.
By ABI HENRY ACHAH | Program Coordinator
HUFAC-CAMEROON is pleased to report significant progress on our GlobalGiving project #60226, “Safe Water to MAHOLE: A Lifeline for 8,000 People.” We are almost done with the construction of the first borehole, bringing us closer to providing safe and clean drinking water to the MAHOLE community in Kumba III Sub-Division, Cameroon.
We sincerely appreciate GlobalGiving, our donors, and supporters for making this progress possible. Your contributions are bringing hope to families and helping prevent waterborne diseases. We are almost there, but we still need your support to complete this borehole and bring lasting change to the community. Together, we can save lives through safe water!

The Population is Increasing

Here's a concise one-paragraph report suitable for posting on GlobalGiving:
Report Title: The Population is Increasing
HUFAC-CAMEROON we keep extends our heartfelt appreciation to all donors and supporters of Project #60226, Lifeline in MAHOLE: Clean Water for 8000 Lives. Your generosity has enabled us to continue advocating for safe and sustainable water access in the growing MAHOLE community, where the demand for clean water increases as the population expands. Out of our project goal of $40,000, we have received $552, representing 1.38% of the required funding. With these contributions, we have carried out community mobilization, beneficiary identification, water source assessments, and planning activities aimed at establishing a reliable clean water system for vulnerable households. One Borehole is under construction. However, 98.62% of the funding is still needed to complete 6 boreholes earmarked for the project, construction of water storage and distribution infrastructure, community hygiene education, and long-term maintenance mechanisms that will benefit approximately 8,000 people. We are deeply grateful for every contribution received so far and invite our supporters to participate in upcoming GlobalGiving fundraising and matching campaigns, where donations can have an even greater impact. Together, we can ensure that every family in MAHOLE has access to the clean and safe water they deserve.

One Water Point will be completed soon.
By ABI HENRY ACHAH | Founder/CEO
The "Lifeline in MAHOLE: Clean Water for 8000 Lives" project on the GlobalGiving platform has successfully raised $551 out of the targeted $40,000, marking a significant first step toward providing clean water access for the Mahole community. More community members are getting involved, which highlights its importance and potential impact. With these funds and the Grand Awards to one of our projects as project of the month in May 2025, efforts are being made to construct at least one bowl hole water point imminently, aimed at improving the health and living conditions of approximately 8,000 residents. Continued support and awareness will be crucial in reaching our funding goal to expand this vital resource for the community.
