Firewood and kerosene are the major sources of energy and rights to Zeze society and other rural societies in Kasulu District of Kigoma Tanzania as they are off-grid connected. These light and energy sources are zero friendly to environments and human health at large. Provision of solar lights to families are increasing happiness and wellbeing it.

Kevina been a victim of fumes produced from kerosene when she burns it for light in during the night. Since we established Solar Light scheme and offer one with her, she is happy to have it as it has reduced her eye tears and pain from kerosene. “I would not have been getting pain for long time if this scheme would have been established earlier”. Kevina said. This is showing she is happy with the use of solar light in his home especially during night.

Bathoromeo has two primary pupils and he is off power. His family’s source of energy is the same as others who are Kerosene and woods dependants. Bathoromeo got one solar light from the scheme and he says his two children are healthily having evening studies at home. They are no anymore bored by right, they are happy and improving their learning capacity.

At Zeze now there is a hugely dropout of Kerosene consumption from the use of solar lights Mboni ya Vijana. The dropout of kerosene consumption signifies the community adaptation to the use of clean energy which has worthwhile to the environments. This situation is paving the way to achieving the objective of making rural community adapt to climate change by reducing production of ozone depleting compounds.

Helping poor communities like Zeze strive from extremely poverty, plays a great role to making world a little better place for living. Poverty been the major cause of evils prevalence those we cut by lifting people go to the safe line of economic and social self sustained with their needs.
