Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generous support, our team provided a shopping voucher to Hamed, an orphan living with his mother and his sister Shireen in Deir al-Balah, Gaza. This assistance gave the family the opportunity to purchase the essential items they needed most, according to their own priorities, at a time when daily life has become increasingly difficult.
During the visit, Hamed eagerly pushed the shopping cart through the store, carefully helping his mother choose food, hygiene supplies, and other basic necessities. For a young child who has experienced loss, displacement, and hardship, this simple moment represented far more than a shopping trip—it was a chance to feel secure, included, and hopeful again.
The shopping voucher not only eased the family's immediate financial burden but also restored a sense of dignity by allowing them to make their own choices based on their most urgent needs. This flexibility is especially important for vulnerable families who face constantly changing circumstances.
Your generosity has helped Hamed, his mother, and little Shireen secure essential supplies while reminding them that they are not alone.
