Support Orphans and Families in Gaza & Syria

In Ahtimlat Camp in northern Syria, displaced children continue to face difficult living conditions after years of displacement and hardship. Yet, a simple act of kindness can bring a sense of security and restore a little joy to a child’s heart.

As part of our Orphan Sponsorship Program, a financial sponsorship was provided to the orphaned child shown in the photo, helping contribute toward his basic needs and supporting him as he faces the difficult circumstances surrounding his family.

Receiving the sponsorship was more than simply receiving financial assistance; it carried a powerful message to the child: he is not alone, and there are people who care about him and stand by his side.

We pray that this sponsorship will help bring greater stability and a brighter future to this child, and that Allah rewards everyone who contributed to his sponsorship with the best of rewards.

In Al-Aqsa Camp in Deir Al-Balah, little Yasser, a Palestinian child, waits patiently for his turn to receive a container of clean water. He carries a burden of need that no child should have to know, while something as basic as access to water has become a daily struggle requiring patience and long hours of waiting.

Amid the difficult humanitarian conditions facing displaced families in Gaza, access to clean water can no longer be taken for granted. Families often wait for hours to collect enough water for drinking, cooking, and other basic needs, while children are also forced to share this responsibility despite their young age.

Yasser was one of the children waiting quietly for his turn, carrying a simple hope: to return home with water his family desperately needs.

Through the Clean Water Project, clean water was provided to families in Al-Aqsa Camp, helping to ease part of their daily hardship and protect children and families from the risks associated with unsafe water.

A container of water may seem like a simple thing, but for a displaced family in Gaza, it can mean a safer day, a child spared from thirst, and a mother given a moment of reassurance.
