Thanks to your support, Karuna-Shechen is empowering village women to bring light to their remote mountain communities in Nepal!
The twelve solar technicians from six remote districts in Nepal are now even more empowered to be bearers of light in their communities thanks to a recent advanced training.
The five-day intensive training taught the technicians how to repair and manufacture home lighting sets so that they can manage and maintain the solar panels in use in their communities. The technicians also learned entrepreneurial skills to install more sets in their area to help replace more dangerous kerosene lanterns with clean, renewable energy.
We are so grateful for your role in bringing light to these villages in Nepal! Below are pictures of the empowering training session you helped make possible!
