Last month, 10-year-old Lilly and her family spent a long weekend at CCA’s Caring Cabin. After spending so much time in the hospital, the Caring Cabin was the perfect place for Lilly and her family to get away and relax. Despite the two feet of snow that fell during their stay, Lilly was still able to have a wonderful time eating her mom’s homemade meals, spending time with her sister and grandparents, and snuggling by the fireplace. She even got to take the rowboat on the lake before the snow fell. Lilly’s mom shared the powerful impact the Caring Cabin had on Lilly, “She didn’t have to talk about her cancer or be the one who was sick. She just got to be a kid.”
Without your generous support, CCA would not be able to help families like Lilly's make lasting and meaningful memories at the Caring Cabin. Thank you for your commitment to seriously ill children and their families.
