Dear Donor,
We are deeply grateful for your continued support of our GlobalGiving campaign: Bring Harmony to Dementia Care in Curaçao. While there are no major updates to share since our last report, our commitment to improving dementia care through music and caregiver training remains strong. This approach continues to show great value, inspiring us to keep moving forward — yet we also recognize that it is only part of the bigger picture.
In Curaçao, dementia and aging are still surrounded by misconceptions, stigma and taboos. To help break down these barriers, we are creating more opportunities for open dialogue. For our annual lecture this year, we will discuss the grieving process that begins when an aging person and their loved ones are confronted with the reality of cognitive decline, the approaching end of life and the growing need for care and reflection on life’s deepest questions. More information can be found on our website and social media channels.
Whether through training, awareness, or conversation, every step counts—and we thank you for walking this journey with us.
Warm regards on behalf of the Birgen di Rosario Team,
Danielle Palm
