Across Upper Egypt's underserved villages and rural communities, thousands of orphaned and vulnerable children grow up without access to proper clothing. For many families, Eid Al-Adha passes without the joy of buying new clothes for their children. Through the "Eid Joy" Campaign, the Egyptian Clothing Bank (ECB) aims to bring happiness and dignity to 50,000 orphaned and underprivileged children across Upper Egypt by providing complete Eid clothing kits.
In many communities across Upper Egypt, families struggle daily to meet basic needs. Limited income forces caregivers to prioritize food and essentials over clothing, leaving thousands of children without proper outfits during Eid. This deprivation affects children's confidence, emotional well-being, and ability to participate in celebrations, making Eid a painful reminder of hardship instead of a joyful occasion.
Through the "Eid Joy" campaign, the Egyptian Clothing Bank will distribute 50,000 brand-new Eid clothing kits to orphaned and deserving children across Upper Egypt. Each kit, valued at EGP 600, includes a complete Eid outfit, underwear set, socks, and shoes. The campaign aims to restore happiness and dignity while ensuring children receive high-quality clothing, they can continue using beyond Eid.
Bringing joy, dignity, and hope to 50,000 vulnerable children during Eid Al-Adha. Supporting children's self-confidence and social inclusion within their communities. Providing durable clothing that supports children beyond the Eid season. Strengthening emotional well-being among orphaned and underprivileged children. Encouraging solidarity and community support for families in need across Upper Egypt.
