PLEASE HELP US GIVE THE GIFT OF CLEAN WATER BEFORE THE APPROACHING RAINY SEASON!
Diarrhoeal disease hits particularly hard during the rainy season of Madagascar, between January and March. Alas, we have yet to move any closer to providing clean water to the villagers of Talaky and Ambala… who ask our colleagues in Ambositra on a monthly basis when the drilling teams will be arriving to start work.
This project is so important as it is our first opportunity to reward the enormous efforts of these communities for their work to improve sanitation and hygiene - villages that are now declared ‘open-air defecation free’! It will also be the first time that we bring boreholes to the Amoron’i Mania region, to an area that we have been supporting for over 14 years.
Meanwhile, our drilling teams have been busy working with other funding elsewhere – having recently completed 7 boreholes in the Vohitsaoka rural area of Ambalavao.
Please give the gift of clean drinking water for Christmas!
