Christmas Kind Cover 2025 Activity Report

By JACKLINE NAMONO | Project Leader

Project Summary

In December 2025, we successfully conducted the 8th edition of the Christmas Kind Cover outreach. The activity focused on supporting vulnerable families through the provision of Christmas food and household packages while also creating an opportunity for fellowship, encouragement, and sharing the Gospel.

This year’s outreach was intentionally smaller and more intimate, allowing for deeper family interaction and meaningful engagement with beneficiaries. A total of five families benefited from the initiative.

Activity Objectives

  • To support vulnerable families during the Christmas season with essential household items.
  • To promote love, hope, and community fellowship among beneficiary families.
  • To share the message of Jesus Christ and provide spiritual encouragement.

Location of Activity

The outreach was conducted in the following locations:

  • Rural Areas: Olee Village, Kuru Parish, Omel Sub County – 4 families reached
  • Urban Area: Laliya – 1 family reached

Beneficiaries Reached

A total of 5 families received Christmas support packages.

Items Distributed Per Family

Each family received the following Christmas package:

  • 3 litres of cooking oil
  • 3 kilograms of rice
  • 2 bars of soap
  • 1 kilogram of sugar
  • 1 tin of Royco
  • 1 packet of salt
  • Half kilogram of onions
  • 1 carton of soda

Key Activities Conducted

During the outreach:

  • Families gathered together for fellowship and sharing.
  • Meals were shared together, creating a warm and family-centered atmosphere.
  • The Word of God was preached.
  • Two individuals gave their lives to Christ and accepted Jesus during the fellowship.

Outcomes and Impact

The Christmas Kind Cover outreach brought both practical and spiritual impact to the participating families. The food and household packages helped ease some of the financial pressure families experience during the festive season. Beyond material support, the fellowship created a sense of belonging, love, and encouragement among participants.

The spiritual engagement was especially impactful, as two people made decisions to receive Jesus Christ. This made the outreach particularly meaningful and fulfilled both the social and spiritual mission of the activity.

Challenges

Due to limited resources, the outreach reached only five families despite the existing need within the community.

Conclusion

The 8th Christmas Kind Cover outreach was successful and impactful. The intimate nature of the gathering allowed for stronger connections with families and deeper engagement both socially and spiritually. We remain grateful for the support that made this activity possible and look forward to expanding future outreach efforts to reach more vulnerable families.
