We express our heartfelt gratitude to our generous donors who have made invaluable contributions through GlobalGiving, supporting the ongoing Shine a Light: Brighten Lives project.
We are thrilled to announce that your donations have played a crucial role in acquiring yet another batch of Solar Lanterns, which will soon be distributed to the most vulnerable communities in Rural Sri Lanka. These portable solar lanterns will be provided to children and families that are faced with numerous challenges due to either a lack of electricity or limited access to it in their living environments that has resulted in faltered education, daily household activities etc.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
