Dear Supporters,
We are excited to share the highlights of Rede Cultural Beija Flor's work from January to June 2024. Thanks to your generosity, we have directly served 1,317 individuals so far, with a goal of reaching 2,089 by the end of the year. Our services also indirectly impacted 6,585 people, and we are proud to report that 70% of the households we supported are led by women.
Our efforts extended across 63 communities in 3 cities, where we conducted 41 courses and workshops. These initiatives support 9 vital projects and programs, focusing on the needs of underrepresented populations. This year, 71% of the individuals we work with identify as Black or multiracial, 58% are women, and 60% of our leadership positions are held by women, reflecting our commitment to diversity and inclusion.
We are proud to announce that Rede Cultural Beija Flor was recognized as one of the top 100 NGOs in Brazil by the "Melhores ONGs do Brasil" initiative. This recognition underscores the excellence in governance, financial transparency, and sustainability that your support makes possible.
