GlobalGiving: Project Report

By Joy Okoronkwo | Community Manager

As we move through the latter part of 2026, She-EO continues to create spaces where women can connect, learn, and grow together while strengthening their personal and professional journeys.

Recent Highlights

1. Community Engagement & Connection

Our monthly Sisters Circle gatherings continue to provide opportunities for women to connect, share experiences, and support one another through meaningful conversations.

These gatherings remain an important part of the She-EO community, creating space for reflection, relationship-building, and ongoing support among members.

2. HERfrica Fellowship

The 2026 HERfrica Fellowship has progressed with a cohort of six women entrepreneurs receiving structured support through mentorship, practical learning, peer engagement, business assignments, and accountability.

This year’s Fellows have been supported by 13 mentors, providing them with access to guidance and perspectives across different areas of entrepreneurship and leadership.

The fellowship has also included practical masterclasses focused on areas such as accessing capital, financial management, business strategy, pricing and profitability, leadership, resilience, and mindset. These sessions are designed to help women strengthen both their personal capacity and the systems within their businesses.

Across three fellowship cohorts, HERfrica has now supported 18 women entrepreneurs — six Fellows in 2024, six in 2025, and six in 2026.

3. Leadership & Learning Through RISE

In 2026, She-EO continued to expand opportunities for women to gather and engage through RISE by She-EO. RISE gatherings in Atlanta, USA, and Manchester, UK brought women together for conversations around leadership, financial empowerment, personal growth, partnership, and legacy.

These gatherings created opportunities for women to learn from one another, reflect on their experiences, and build meaningful connections beyond the events themselves.

4. Strengthening Community Learning Resources

We continue to make selected recordings, worksheets, and learning resources available to women in our community. These resources allow participants to revisit important conversations and apply lessons from She-EO programmes beyond the individual sessions.

Through this approach, we are working to ensure that learning continues beyond a single event and that women have practical resources they can return to as they navigate their personal, professional, and entrepreneurial journeys.

Looking Ahead

In the coming months, we will:

  • Continue supporting the 2026 HERfrica Fellows through mentorship, learning, and business development activities

  • Strengthen engagement among HERfrica Fellows and alumni

  • Continue hosting Sisters Circle gatherings and community conversations

  • Expand learning opportunities focused on leadership, entrepreneurship, financial empowerment, and personal growth

  • Create additional opportunities for women to connect with mentors, peers, and broader professional networks

  • Continue developing RISE and other community programmes across different locations

  • Strengthen access to practical resources that women can use beyond our individual programmes

Thank You. Your support helps us continue building spaces where women are encouraged, equipped, and connected.

Every contribution strengthens a community committed to helping women grow in leadership, business, confidence, and life. Through programmes such as HERfrica, Sisters Circle, and RISE, we continue to create opportunities for women to learn from one another, access meaningful support, and take practical steps toward their goals.

With gratitude,

Joy Okoronkwo
Community Manager, She-EO

Together, we rise.
