We are thrilled to report the successful completion of the playground project, a crucial part of our larger mission to "Break the Poverty Cycle of Roma Children." With the dedicated help of volunteers, we have achieved significant progress that will greatly benefit the children of the After School Club in Csatószeg.
The playground we purchased was first dismantled and transported with the help of volunteers. Now, with a team of 15 volunteers, we have fully assembled the structure, adding additional elements to enhance the play experience. The entire structure has been varnished, and parts were replaced to ensure it functions perfectly.
To protect the playground and extend its life, we applied a durable layer of protective paint. This ensures the children will be able to enjoy the space for years to come. As part of our commitment, we regularly visit the After School Club during school time, and we’ll make sure to fix anything that needs repairs along the way.
Beyond the playground, the After School Club has received many donations, including food supplies, school materials, clothing, and games. These items have helped provide a better environment for the children and further support their educational needs.
The work on the playground was done in a motivating and collaborative environment, with local residents and children from the After School Club working alongside us. Their involvement made the project even more meaningful, and we believe it will help strengthen the bond between the children and their community.
We are incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished with your support, and we’ve attached a few pictures to give you a glimpse of the playground and the joy it brings to the children.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us make a difference in the lives of these kids.
Until next time,
The Care2Travel team
