Dear Supporters,
Between January and April 2025, Yasmin Bibi Girls College Pirsaddi conducted a series of impactful educational and developmental activities, aimed at empowering students—particularly young women—and developing a culture of learning, leadership, and innovation.
1. Student Achievement: National Women Youth Career Conference
The quarter began on a high note with a remarkable achievement by one of our students, who secured second position in the English speech competition at the National Women Youth Career Conference. The event, hosted at FG Girls College in Nowshera, brought together young women from across the region to express their views on contemporary social and educational issues. Her performance was a reflection of the growing academic potential nurtured through our programs.
2. Educational Visit to Governor House, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
On 24 January, a group of our students visited the Governor House in Peshawar, where they had the unique opportunity to meet the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The visit sparked meaningful conversations on critical issues such as the prevalence of cheating in academic environments, the importance of creating career opportunities for women, and the urgent need to raise awareness about girls’ education. The dialogue served to inspire the students and reinforce their roles as active participants in shaping their communities.
3. Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM)
On 18 January, the hosting of a Parent-Teacher Meeting following the third round of examinations was marked. This session provided a valuable platform for teachers and parents to jointly assess students’ academic progress and address challenges. Such interactions continue to strengthen our home-school collaboration and ensure that students receive the holistic support they need.
4. International Education Day 2025
In recognition of International Education Day on January 24, our students participated in special events centered around the 2025 theme. The day underscored the importance of preparing students for the digital future and promoting curiosity in emerging technologies.
5. International Women’s Day
March 8 was celebrated with great enthusiasm as we marked International Women’s Day. The event featured talks by local women leaders and participatory discussions focused on women's rights, leadership, and personal development. It provided our students, especially girls, with relatable role models and strengthened their confidence to dream boldly and lead fearlessly.
6. Spring Planation Drive
As part of our environmental education efforts, a spring plantation drive was conducted, where students actively participated in planting trees and learning about sustainable practices. The activity not only beautified the school environment but also instilled a sense of environmental responsibility among the youth.
The first four months of 2025 have been filled with enriching experiences that align closely with our mission to nurture informed, skilled, and confident youth. These activities would not have been possible without the continued support of our donors. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to GEC in USA, and its sister organization, the Dosti Welfare Organization in Pakistan for their generous funding, which makes these events possible.
Your contributions are directly shaping brighter futures—thank you for being a part of this journey.
Regards,
