For many months, we have worked tirelessly to provide bread to some of the most vulnerable families in Gaza, offering a small but vital source of relief to households that have lost their livelihoods and are facing severe food insecurity amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis. Despite soaring costs, shortages of flour and fuel, and countless logistical challenges, our team has remained committed to ensuring that bread reaches children, mothers, and elderly people who depend on it every day.
Today, however, this essential program is facing a critical challenge. Due to a severe shortage of funding and donations, our ability to continue distributing bread is at serious risk. As the number of families in need continues to grow, the resources available to us are no longer sufficient to meet the overwhelming demand. In recent weeks, we have been forced to reduce distribution quantities and limit the number of beneficiaries in some areas, despite knowing how desperately these families rely on this support.
Even in the face of these difficulties, we remain determined to continue this lifesaving effort for as long as possible. Every donation, no matter the size, helps put bread on the table for families who are struggling simply to survive. For many children, a loaf of bread is not just food—it is hope, dignity, and reassurance that they have not been forgotten.
