Every week, bread baked at Good People travels to liberated areas - places without stores, without supply chains, sometimes without much left at all. Many people fled. Some stayed. They're still there.
Our bread reached Ihor from Kostiantynivka — a city where explosions have become the background of daily life. He stayed for his mother, but during an airstrike she was killed, and Ihor was seriously injured, waiting two days for evacuation under shelling.
He was evacuated, but his brother remained in the city — alive or not, unknown. Ihor is now alone, and there are thousands of stories like his.
We bake bread to support those affected by the war.
The people baking this bread have mental disabilities. For most of them, this is their first job.
They bake for strangers they'll never meet. You helped them keep baking.
