By NAS Orgnzaton | Mine Awareness and School Supplies Distribution
• Our project addressing the dangers of landmines and unexploded ordnance in Syria is ongoing, with a particular focus on supporting children and distributing school supplies.
• The project achieves its objective of raising awareness and educating children and community about the dangers of mines and the importance of safe practices.
• The activities and steps outlined in the project plan are being implemented to increase public awareness of unexploded ordnance and landmines, despite the project not having received funding to date.
• The primary goal of the project is to help create a safe environment in which children and other members of society can resume their normal lives — especially access to education, which is of utmost importance — as well as other essential daily activities.
• The project provides support in mine-affected areas by promoting warning measures, protection, awareness, and the provision of educational supplies to enhance children’s learning opportunities.
• Project sessions continue to expand in order to raise awareness about the dangers of landmines and unexploded ordnance. We have observed an increasing need within communities for life-saving knowledge, risk identification, and safe behavior practices.
• We are distributing educational supplies to children to help ensure the safe continuation of their education. Our ongoing aim is to foster a safer environment by strengthening community awareness across Syria and helping to reduce mine-related injuries and fatalities.
• Our project seeks to highlight the dangers of unexploded ordnance and promote a culture of safety in order to contribute to a safer and more hopeful future for Syria
