Brazil Flooding - Rescuing Education

Hello friends!

It is with great joy that we share another result of our project. In May 2024, the south of Brazil was tragically hit by unprecedented floods, with more than 400 cities and 2.3 million people impacted. Through this project, which prioritizes early childhood education and mother-baby support, we were able to help rebuild a public school in the city of Canoas/RS, providing backpacks, notebooks, pens and materials for collective and pedagogical use for the school, supporting the return to classes through supplies necessary for continuing education. We believe in the importance of offering thousands of impacted children easier access to education and mental health.

We were also able to support families with babies who lost their homes, providing resources for childcare and producing detergents to help clean their homes, offering them the opportunity to return to their homes. In addition to these actions, we renovated a classroom that had suffered from heavy rains and donated water and diapers to an association that supports people with cancer, which was affected by the floods.
