Members, parents, and community supporters recently particpted in the Spirit of St. Louis Air Show in St. Louis. This annual 3-day event welcomed over 25,000 attendees. Our team's booth stayed busy as we had three of our robots there to engage with visitors. Our members loved the experience and are so proud they were able to showcase their work. The air show brings in the community to celebrate leaders in flight, design, and technology.
In addition, two of members were recognized at the special Wings of Hope Reception on Friday eving with the Blue Angels. These members continue to represent the STEAMBotics Academy to the community, helping people understand everything from design to competitions.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles was also recently recognized for our STEAMBotics Program with an amazing gift from Amazon. Amazon, a true leader in technology, noted our programs provide a basic introduction into STEM for young learners, hands on experience in coding and modeling, and competition experiences designed to promote problem-solving, leadership, and innovation.
We are so thankful for the continued support of this program. It is our hope to expand it to our O'Fallon location by next year so that even more young members can explore STEAM.
